My senior animated film focuses on music and how it can unite unlikely friendships. Inspired by the music of David Rothenburg, and his connection between music and nature
Animated bumper for Call & Response, made for the premiere at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts
"The film presents the true story of a female refugee’s experience fleeing post-World War II Eastern Germany, and her subsequent immigration to the United States."
Under the direction of Catriona Baker, I worked on the rough animation of Ball Lighting. I wore several hats on this project, working on background design and also helping to animate the stop-motion elements during the end credits. Currently, the film is on its Festival route, but as of now, it has won awards for best animation from the Berlin Indie Film Festival, the Calgary Indie Film Awards, and the California Women's Film Festival.

Fun fact: Lionel Richie and I share a birthday. I celebrated our birthdays with an annual animation.
